TAILORED, TARGETED STRATEGIC SESSIONS:
David is skilled at the design and delivery of tailored strategic planning sessions, which generate consensus and commitment across diverse teams. For many years he designed and piloted Executive Development Sessions at Business Schools, and now helps several organizations with their in-house strategic development processes. These make extensive use of very large wall charts and other design features that are unique.

Professional Service Firms: these include Architectural firms (Architectura – voted one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies-now part of Stantec); several Engineering companies, including the $11Bill Jacobs Engineering Group; Law Practices and international consulting companies such as Watson Wyatt Worldwide and Deloitte.
Resource Sector: Simons Mining Group; TimberWest; Weldwood; Canfor; Forintek; Anglo American Corp; De Beers Diamonds.
Transportation: helping with the formation of the BCR Marine Group and work with each of its Business Units, after many years prior work with Vancouver Wharves. The B.C. Rail Group. Canadian National Rail. Vancouver International Airport. Port Metro Vancouver (largest exporter by tonnage in North America).
Health Care: Children’s and Women’s Health Center of B.C., and other work with health organizations and teams of surgeons.
Schools and Universities: Southridge School, Shawnigan Lake School, Board of Governors, University oif British Columbia.
Others: These have included strategic and marketing projects for higher tech clients, such as Hewlett-Packard. He has assisted with the concept and launching of several new organizations aimed at the knowledge sector, but based in traditional industries.
